VUA Updated! And big announcement
So here is the deal, Deskers. Chapter 4 for Villains’ Union of America has been posted. Have run reading Chapter 4: The Maidens of Maxwell Paragon. It is the usual fun you have come to expect from VUA. At least I think that’s what you have come to expect. Thank you all who donated so much. Your money actually really helped me this week. There were complications with my employment (it changed recently and there was a payroll error) so the money you guys ever so graciously sent my way payed for my groceries this week. Don’t worry, the payroll issue has been solved. But I just want to say thank you donators so much.

Okay, so I promised a big announcement and here it is… okay actually I can’t see it as a quick explanation. So I’ll draw it out and explain more. Kami and I have both felt a little frustrated with Villains’ Union of America. Mostly because 1) I haven’t been able to update it as much as I want because we’ve limited it to being a donation story and 2) Because we kind of set it up to be a work dump once we hit the $50 marker. We discussed an alternative and we have come up with one…
Bunny Shell is a new project. It’s a story that Kami has come up with that I think you will all like. Not to give up too much away but it involves a rebel force fighting against an evil one-world government using futuristic battle suits called “Shells.” Where the heck does the word “Bunny” come into the title then? Well… we’ll start next week with the project so you can see.
So how does this relate to VUA? It will replace VUA as our donation incentive project. Each “segment” of the Bunny Shell will feature one picture by Kami and a short chapter by me. You say, “What? VUA has three pics and exceedingly long chapters. All we get is a short chapter and one picture now?” Fear not! Instead of updating every $50 we will be updating every $10. $10! Normally you got 3 pics for $50, now you’ll get 5 for $50! What a deal! On top of it all, this will be updating much more often because it will be done in smaller chunks.
But Taralynn, what will happen to VUA? Fear not! I will now be free to update it more often. I’ll be switching between it and MGP at my discression. It won’t have all the picture Kami did for it, but it will be getting art often (I hope). Overall, I think that Taralynn’s Desk is stronger today. You will love Bunny Shell! I know it!
